"Left for Milan, Italy."This was all that I entered in my journal for the day and appears to have been added after later journal entries were already entered. Pretty sure I entered it as a reference point. Obviously, I had very little time to journal on the actual day of leaving for Italy! But on a side note, I do remember repacking luggage w/Mom & Dad when I arrived to take off for London & Paris. (see below)

OMG - Lost Journal Reappears!
Today while cleaning her room, Teen Peep found a little spiral blue notebook that shockingly holds journal entries written by Yours Truly during visits to Italy, London and Paris in December 2004.
Holy Lost Journal!!!
Yes, I'm more than a little excited about this discovery, so much that I'm willing to post my entries here on the Married with Peeps blog, photos and ALL.
Stay tuned... this promises to be one of my best travel blogs yet. :)

Well, geez.
I had an amazing video from our Great Wolf Lodge experience that Blogger failed to load, and so now my blog is horribly out of date! So here are a few photos to help correct that li'l issue:

Aftermath of the Fourth
Man oh man did we have the best Fourth of July EVER this year. And reflecting back over the past 10 years of living in our current neighborhood, I now realize how celebrating Independence Day in previous years pretty much stunk rotten eggs compared to this year. Why? Hmmmm... let me see, it could've been due to stupid teen antics that involved shooting bottle rockets off at neighborhood homes, or maybe it was because said teens parked 52 cars curbside making it extremely difficult to light fireworks in front of our own home, or possibly it was due to those underage drinking parties they had where they left empty beer cans and cigarette butts on our property, or maybe it was just a big combination of ALL OF THE ABOVE.
Anyway, the Peeps and I enjoyed a quaint Fourth of July celebration at home this year, and for good reason, we're feeling all blessed about it. Sometimes you have to put up with a few crappy Independence Day celebrations to really appreciate the alternative. With that, here's a fun firework video appropriately called "Goldfish Fail":

Red Hot Mama
Lately I've been journaling in an actual BOOK with PAPER and PEN, thus neglecting this online blog. *audible gasp* I know! Crazy to even think such a thing! But really, it's been kind of nice knowing that I can jot down thoughts any time, any place without worrying about grammar, spelling, and whether or not some random lurker is sneaking a peek at my thoughts... other than a couple Peeps of mine who might try to look over my shoulder while I'm writing.
Yet I'll never give up blogging completely - Not. A. Chance.
So here's a snapshot of my favorite birthday present of all time just received last night from the Peep Hubster - a late gift, but we're talking total forgiveness based on the fact that the present is RED and an IPOD NANO with PERSONALIZED ENGRAVING and well deserving of ALL CAPS:
